Story

Hi! I’m Sarah Wolfe, a native of the MS Gulf Coast and the potter behind WolfLily! I, like so many, have had various open and closed doors throughout my career path. Each one led me, bit by bit, to find solace and inspiration in the form of clay. So in 2019, I decided to throw out all fears/doubts I had been holding onto and made it a full-time commitment to invest in the dream of WolfLily. Very scary. But lemme tell ya, I’ve learned SO much and gained perspective on what I can and cannot do. You might be thinking, “Sarah it’s just pottery”. But for me, it’s not just pottery. This is my passion and dream. When you support my business, you are allowing me to grow and to broaden my understanding of what I’m capable of.

My desire is to bring people back to hand-crafting roots and to seeing the value in artisan made goods. Every one of my pieces is made with unique qualities you can't get from mass-produced pottery. Supporting your community artists and makers is an investment. I hope to encourage others to make that investment back into small businesses, within not only my community, but a broader one as well.

WolfLily's long-term goal is to be able to grow through positive collaborations and connect to other small businesses in order to broaden our community and give back to it.

I love my Mississippi and Gulf Coast people and land. It's impossible to not be inspired to make things here.  Creating tableware and pieces that will be used by friends, family, and the community for years to come is an honor and gratifying as an artisan. So thank you for allowing me the opportunity.
